Natural play dough by Noonchi Organics – handmade in Latvia

Noonchi Organics comes from Jūrmala in Latvia. The brand was founded by a mum whose toddler licked play dough from the supermarket. In her own kitchen she experimented until she had created a soft dough made from food-grade ingredients: wheat flour, sea salt, cream of tartar, corn starch, vegetable oil and bentonite clay. Borax, sulphates, polyethylene glycols, mineral and palm oil and microplastics stay out. The name is inspired by the Korean “nunchi” – the subtle art of sensing how others feel.

Every cup is filled by hand in small batches. Many designs with animal prints, little figures and biodegradable glitter are built up layer by layer. The dough dries very slowly, can be refreshed with a little water and comes off tables and clothes easily.
